Episode 28 - Stop Knitting?

Tagged:
Welcome to our Episode 28 of our podcast in which we talked about . . .
In the second segment we talked about when to stop knitting . . .   WHY YOU SHOULD NOT KNIT (OR STOP KNITTING)
  • You don't love it
  • You're not willing to make an investment
  • You can't knit, physically
  • You can't knit, for other reasons

WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE A BREAK FROM KNITTING   There may be times in your life where you don't feel the urge to knit, and that's okay.  Take a break, step back and regroup.  We find this happens in these types of situations.
  • You've just finished knitting a big project, and you're mentally and physically drained
  • You've got a crisis in your life
  • You've had a forced exile from knitting
  • You've got something wonderful going on in your life that you need to focus on

  • Sharing Knitting and the Word from Psalm 46: Be still and know that He is God
  • A prayer for the many health-related concerns of our listeners and friends; travel mercies for the Ridgecrest group to Italy; protection for Knit Together

I just listened to your podcast for the very first time, having found you through Ravelry. I have to say, I LOVE your podcast! It's very refreshing and encouraging to find other knitting Moms that are Christians and even better to have found a Christian Knitting Podcast! I have been looking for a podcast like this for a while. Thanks so much for sharing your love of Jesus and of knitting and I am looking forward to listening to more!!!
Nice, I really love that knit sweater it's so cute! Wish I knew how to knit.
I'm a new knitter and after learning all the basic patterns I'm getting started on my first project..just a scarf with cable pattern. Someone told me you should never leave the yarn on the needles because it will ruin the yarn but then what do I do with my project when I need to take a long break from it?
Cute blog. I really wish I would have learned more about knitting!
Hi, knitting is a great way to relax ourselves from tension. I too like knitting but at present I see many of them have just stopped to knit with each other as I feel this is the effect of economic crises but soon it will recover and again the world of knitting will arose.
